Description

The VCF118-137 (RA23-3526-01) mobile antenna is an omni-directional, vertically polarised, rugged VHF band centre fed dipole antenna intended for mobile ground-to-air communications, ship-to-air, and general purpose tactical mobile communications in the 118 to 137 MHz range.

Encased in a high strength fibreglass sleeve, the VCF118-137 is robust, impact resistant, and able to withstand the rigorous demands of harsh military environments.

Being of centre-fed dipole design, the VCF118-137 is groundplane independent and therefore ideal on platforms offering where limited or no groundplane, or for mast mounting (Mast adapter required).

The UBS-4/UBS-6 Universal Mounting Base is ground isolated for use on platforms where electrical isolation is necessary, but may be grounded if required.
