Description

The VCF115-175 (RA23-1786-01) mobile antenna is a ground to air/marine omni-directional, vertically polarised, rugged and versatile VHF antenna intended for ground-to-air, ship-to-shore, and general tactical mobile communications in the 115 to 175 MHz range.

Encased in a high strength fibreglass sleeve, the VCF115-175 is robust, impact resistant, and able to withstand the rigorous demands of harsh military environments.

Being a Centre-fed dipole in design, the VCF115-175 is groundplane independent and therefore ideal on platforms where limited or no groundplane is available, or for mast mounting (Mast adapter required).

The UBS-6 Universal Mounting Base is ground isolated for use on platforms where electrical isolation is necessary, but may be grounded if required.
